Ben Gilbert - CEO

Ben Gilbert studied project management and engineering at Fanshawe and began working in heavy construction specializing in building layout and blueprint reading. He later worked in high-rise construction doing building layout and installing pre-cast concrete panels. After 5 years of working in the business he was inspired to start his own company.
Ben started Ben Gilbert Roofing in 2016 and has become one of the most trusted names in local St. Thomas roofing. to meet the needs of our growing clientele and workforce, Gilbert Renovations Ltd. was formed in 2019. Since then, Gilbert Renovations has taken on more complex projects. To meet the needs of our growing clientele, Gilbert Renovations has expanded to Gilbert Contracting & Renovations Ltd.

Dan Heffren

Renovations team lead. Cabinet maker, union painter and business owner, Dan has over 10 years of experience in the industry. A jack of all trades, he leads the renovation crew to make sure your project meets his high standards.

Matt Oliveira

Apprentice Carpenter, in his final year of trade school. Woodworking is his passion. With the company he has framed houses, laid concrete and so much more.

Kirk Graham

Kirk likes to think outside the box and is a natural problem solver on site. He is a man of details, whether it is your floor pattern, trim alignment or tile cuts, Kirk always makes sure things fit just right.

Carter McTasney

Apprentice Carpenter, in the short time Carter has been with the company he has gained experience beyond his years. Organized, hard-working and dedicated to learning, any job with Carter’s involvement is guaranteed to be quality.

Sacha works both behind and on the scene in the organization of your project. From ordering your materials, consultation, and participating in renovations she will be with you every step of the way.
